I'm SO excited for this and grateful for your creativity Rosa! Also, funny enough, this is one of my favorite poems of yours you've written

"but, even if

the fig tree should not blossom

and the strawberry patch

were to yield no jam"

so evocative and vivid and the way it ENDS, ahhhh

So excited to be partnering on this!! Can’t wait to read your poems💗 aaahhh thank you, I’m so glad you feel that way because it was kind of an experiment writing it. One of those poems you love and sort of don’t at the same time!! Haha.

Really cool! I'll be following along. I wish I could help out, but my wife and I are expecting our first child any day now, and I'm going to keep my responsibilities at an all-time low. Good luck!

Totally get that!! Our daughter is 2 years old so that first-time parent feeling is still fresh in my memory. Enjoy time with your family. Thank you for your support and encouragement!!

I love this invitation to join you both in writing! I grew up in Ohio, and one of my most favorite summer memories is picking strawberries at a farm with my mom and sisters. They are maybe the world's most delicious food when they are warm and just from the plant. My mom would make strawberry shortcake for dinner as a reward for picking all those berries, but really I loved being out in those fields and I still do. I live in Colorado now, and the strawberry picking/growing season is slim, though we do get a small bounty from our wild strawberry plants. The berries are fit for a mouse, they are so small, but they are so good!
