I love "haste" - I connect well with that, since I find myself always rushing the present to get to the future place I want to be...but that never stops, so I miss out on the moments I'm living in.
Rosa/Claire—the said post is evolving and may become not just about a green mango, but also about time I spent in Venezuela when I was supposed to have been in the 4th grade. Giving people a more humanized sense of that country vs. the more politicized issues we’re exposed to here in the states. It’s coming…
Love both of these! I too want to be like a cornstalk. I think God grows us exponentially sometimes, but often there's no way of knowing. We can't hear the popping, nor see the stretch marks...
Thank you, friend! And ahhh so true and such a good reminder. I can be so hard on myself sometimes without realizing God is always working his good work in me!!
Oooh I LOVE the “corny” corn metaphor. What a lovely image!
Haha thank you, Julia!! I'm sooo glad you enjoyed it <3

Glad we get to live the present and future together. Love you <3
Love both of them. Good to know that you are a bit behind too. I've been working on my green mango prose/poem.
I can't wait to read it, Michelle!! Please tag Claire and I when you do so we are sure not to miss it. So glad you're joining us!!

Wow! Both are awesome. Personally I found the corn poem connected slightly more. But that might be because I live in Nebraska.
Thank you!! I totally get it, we're surrounded by it here in Ohio, too.
Beautiful
Gracias tio!
